Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: WHISPERS IN THE MAZE; independently unsigned, hailing from Canadian grounds - performing Melodic Death Metal, on their debut EP entitled: "Threads Unbind" (released July 25th, 2019).

Since formation in 2016; the quartet in question have a single entitled: "Ink" (released August 2nd, 2017), and this here debut EP entitled: "Threads Unbind". 4 tracks ranging at around 21:09; WHISPERS IN THE MAZE arrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting, Melodic Death Metal developments. "I Can Show You Everything" begins the EP; conveying amplified adrenaline, boistrously bouncy flamboyancy & a blistering barrage of harmonious hostility in which ultilizes uniquely versatile vehemence while showcasing meticulous musicianship that thunders with virtuosic solidities – experimenting crunchy creativity flaired into a crisp formulaic of demonic instrumentation & chugging chaos, dynamically diversed into a galloping frolick of distinctive contrast that revolves around an adroitly composed fabrication of firepower & expertly crafted consistencies.

Consisting of Emine Topcu on lead/rhythm guitars/vocals; the frontman demonstrates a fluidly polished perseverence of malevolent mayhem who shreds with rip-roaring soars of sonically seamless rhythms, while supplying profusely robust pipes – lungs of rawly rough raspiness & deep, guttural growls that provide volatile yet meaty quintessentials. "Bleeding Pain" injects infectiously groovy grinds, fuelled hymns of hardened haste & tenaciously thumpy bass audibility from Ben Bertrand (also on vocals) who implements immersively complex dexterity. Attributing haunting chorus sections that juxtapose with monotonous tempos, stampeding stomps & punchy pounding from battering drummer Mike Berrigan. While Vitto Ortori rambunctiously riffs with relentless yet technically traditional substance, organic solos & gnarly grit.

"Rewoven" details diligently distinguished blends of momentous songwriting stability; ranged with variety, trailblazing potency while wondered with vibrantly pulsating pandemonium. Ruthlessly portraying subtle pursuits of weighty lacerations, killer malignance that manifests into an atmospheric aesthetic of doomy deadliness. Overall concluding "Threads Unbind" with the finale song: "Climbing The Abyss; I am compelled to say that WHISPERS IN THE MAZE certainly outdone themselves here for a 1st attempt, a remarkably splendid slab of enjoyably entertaining talent that pulses with potential & enlightening fulfillment - check it out - melo-deth enthusiasts are ensured to get their guaranteed headbanging fix here…a borderline foundation of finesse & fiercely frenzied domination.
