Added 17 January 2016, 4:59 PM

The New York based Hard Rock BLUE OYSTER CULT was just announced for a single show, first time ever in its history, in Israel this coming July 28th. The show will take place at Amphitheater Wahall, Yarkon Park, Tel Aviv.

BLUE OYSTER CULT was formed back in 1967, then under the moniker SOFT WHITE UNDERBELLY and in 1971 changed its present name. Throughout the 70's the band gained popularity due to amazing hits such as "Astronomy", "Cities On Flame Of Rock N' Roll" and "Carrier Of Evil".

In 1976 the band released the album "Agents Of Fortune", which was critically acclaimed. It consisted of songs such as "This Ain't The Summer Of Love" and of course "Don't Fear The Reaper". Additional hits of a few years forward are "Burnin' For You" and "Godzilla".

During the course of its career the band sold over 24 million albums. The band's latest album was released fifteen years ago in 2001 named "Curse of the Hidden Mirror".

Progstage Productions, which recently produced the shows of Titans Of Metal, Gojira, Uriah Heep and more, is the leading production behind BOC's first ever show in Israel.

Tickets will be sold in the range of 249-459 NIS. First 100 tickets shall be sold in a discounted price.
