Added 18 July 2019, 11:41 PM

Rotterdam, NL downtempo masters DISTANT have announced the album release tour for their debut full length Tyrannotophia. The tour runs from August 18th - September 1st with support on the trek coming from Silent Generation and Abyss Above.

Called "one of the sickest bands in the Deathcore scene right now" by Metal Temple and "huge fun and brutally enjoyable" by Wonderbox Metal, DISTANT are quickly becoming one of the most exciting voices in their genre. With a powerful and vicious live intensity the tour will see the group devastating crowds across a large portion of Central Europe.

Since their formation in 2014 Rotterdam, NL based down-tempo/deathcore group DISTANT have been relentless in their pursuit of becoming one of the most extreme voices in their genre. The release of their debut EP Slither quickly launched the band into the international spotlight and saw the band hitting the road hard across Europe alongside heavyweights such as Aborted, Slaughter To Prevail, and Vulvodynia.

In early 2017 DISTANT began their next chapter with the addition of monstrous vocalist Alan Grnja and released their devastating follow up EP  that summer. Full of sludgy, claustrophic intensity Tsukuyomi delivered on the promise of the group's previous material and established DISTANT as one of the dominant voices in the European deathcore realm.

Now in 2019 the group are prepared to unleash their debut full length Tyrannotophia onto the world. Upping the brutality ten-fold from their previous releases, the gut wrenchingly vicious album accomplishes exactly what DISTANT have set out to do from the start - destroy everything in their path. The overwhelming and utterly devastating sonic violence contained within Tyrannotophia is not for the faint of heart.
