GEVAUDAN: Announce Album Details for "Iter."

Added 13 August 2019, 11:28 AM

UK Doomers Gévaudan have announced full details of their forthcoming debut album. Titled ‘Iter’ the band have promised the album will deliver a dynamic musical journey through their doomy world, with heavy sprawling riffs and epic solos.

Engineered and produced by Mike Exeter at Woodworm Studios, the 5 track offering tells of stories of the interactions between gods and mortals interlaced with wider themes of the passage into, through and out of existence.

The album Artwork has been prepared in collaboration with Aiden GD Moore Illustration, a London based artist and illustrator who specialises in the macabre. The band commented:

“We’ve worked hard to craft an album that takes the listener through a real journey from the opening delicate notes to the last crushing chord. Aiden has really captured the mood and intent in the artwork. Iter has been a while in the making, and we can’t wait to get this out. It’s a really exciting and heavy record.”

Iter will be released on 4th October 2019 and will be available on digital and hardcopy formats.

The band have also announced they will be supporting the release with an exclusive launch show at 229, London on Thursday 10th October where they will be playing the release in its entirety. Tickets are available from 12pm Wednesday 14th August:
