KILONOVA: New Song 'Straight To Hell', Out Now

Added 28 April 2019, 1:27 AM

Brit riff-slingers KILONOVA unleash their enticing EP, Omnicide, through all digital outlets on Friday 12th July. Prior to this, the UK newcomers have just revealed a stream of their new track, "Straight To Hell" -

The single is also widely available through all streaming sites.

Bursting out of Newcastle Upon Tyne, KILONOVA spit out an incendiary, thrash-tinged sound combining the Bay-Area intensity with a tectonic modern groove. The North East riff warriors were only born in 2018 but their second
live appearance occurred at Bloodstock Open Air Metal 2 The Masses. The band flourished throughout the whole competition and were selected to perform at Bloodstock 2018. KILONOVA released their debut single in the run up to
Bloodstock, and began work on their debut EP.

Throughout the start of 2019, the band supported Finnish upstarts LOST SOCIETY, vigorously sharpened their set, and completed work on their first record, Omnicide. Bassist, Joe Bambrick remarks about the EP: "Omnicide is a
mission statement for KILONOVA. It's a dark, raucous picture of who we are as artists. Going into the recording process we wanted the sound to be as true to our live energy as possible, and I think that really comes through. It's a dirty, chaotic sound that grabs you by the throat and forces you to pay attention".

Omnicide arrives this July and it immediately lunges forward with stunning pace, spewing out frantic drumming and hi-octane riffs to striking effect. Ramming five full cuts of intensely contagious vocal lines, a burly rhythm section, and high paced Kirk Hammett-esque licks, the band have produced a blazing and potent slice of modern metal. The stage is all set for the band to rise and break out to the nation.

KILONOVA Live: April: *25th - Edinburgh, Bannermens; *26th Dumfries, The
Venue; *27th - Newcastle, Trillians; May: 4th - Sheffield, The Royal
Standard at Heaven & Hell Fest; **10th - Gateshead, Black Bull; 18th -
Nottingham - Tap 'N' Tumbler at the TNT All Dayer.
